PowerShell modules are powerful and useful tools in an administrator’s belt for building custom administrative tasks. When used with Advanced Functions using CmdLet binding and Comment Based Help, script-based modules can be used just like the provided modules for Hyper-V, Active Directory, or Azure. In this session, Alex B Chalmers will walk you through the process of taking an idea for a module from standalone testing code to a fully developed and source controlled module. In addition, certain useful advanced language features such as variable scopes and parameter splatting will be highlighted.
